I am not as well. Not money well spent. Looks like I will have to get that job done right. And pay the price. The damage was my mistake actually and I have paid the emotional price already: it hurts. It was a malfunctioning garage door. I said a fib re a stonechip. The garage door closed on the nose. Don't know why the anti-close sensor did not work. Damn that hurts on a many thousand dollar paint job. I was depressed for several days but it's time to get on with life and I will do so. Time to drive and forget this. The Canadian summer is so short!

Objects cantilevered into the door opening don't activate the safety feature. Your Corvette's nose was hanging into the door opening without the front wheel breaking the beam at the bottom of door tracks. The door opener didn't know the car was there, but if you have the opener adjusted properly, it should have quickly reversed...the reversing force isn't a lot, but apparently it's enough to do some damage out on the front edge of the hood.

Langka Kit

I have been in contact with the producer of this product. Very nice fellow. The product is for minor chips, not what I have experienced. And I can understand that. The local GM dealer will fix things in about two weeks. That will give me time to find out how to kick myself in the butt for my own stupidity. My legs are not as flexible as they used to be so two weeks may be ample.
