Re: C2 -67 rocker panel screws
Ya, thats what I thought too, but the judging manual states differently.
On a non sidepipe car the screw is in the black area of the rocker panel facia and it is black!
On a side pipe car the screw is in the black area of the rocker panel facia and the screw is chrome!
In both cases the screw is readily visible.....
In the AIM both screws carry the same part number!!!!
Maybe both ways are correct... GM ran out of black screws so they used chrome until the bin was refilled.....?????
One respondent here says his side pipe car is original and has chrome screws!!!
Another respondent said he researched this and was able to get a future judging manual change by Keith Biggers to both cases having black screws.
