    Roberto

Glad to see someone sames my photos. The photo of the tube alone is the one sent to me for duplication. That photo was sent to me from Stan. He says its a know original L-46. Seems to be a californoa car to me judging from the vac port at the choke side.

They should all still be here http://s27.photobucket.com/albums/c177/a7tl46/?

      Re: That'd be me

Hello, thanks for the photo site. My 7040503 carb for Cal base engine don't have the vac connector at the back of the carb. I have to use the side vac connector, near the choke as you said.

Does your car have the smog pump? I thought that vac port on the side was for that.

No, 70 base engine don't use Smog Pump, nor is any trace of it. As a NA9 California car I do have a couple of hoses going to PCV and to the fuel evap canister and return hose as later years plus special carb base insulation and so on.

          Actually I wasn't able to see another 70 NA9 carb_in_engine picture to check/verify configuration.

your car has the ECS. Is it an automatic? This pic is the one Stan sent me. You'll notice the tube on the choke side. I thought that was connected to the air pump. Not familiar with it at all.

As you can see its blocked off and there is a connection to the rear of the carb.
