    Try Adams car wax....

I've never used Zaino however in my opinion it gives a plastic appearance to the paint....not that mile deep look that I'm after. Recently I started using Adams Butter Wax and their detail spray. I've been very pleased with the ease of application/removal and the deep color/shine it gives without any dust. As far as durability is concerned I enjoy detailing my car so for me it's not a chore. They have a 15% fathers day discount going.....type in "dad" in the coupon code box.

Adam's Polishes provides premium detailing products designed to reduce time & steps in the process. We provide Wheel Cleaner, Microfiber towels and much more. Shop now »

      So what are you saying?????

I'll admit it; I'm the authorized Zaino distributor in Nebraska. No one asked previously and I didn't think it was relavent

I was customer BEFORE I was a distributor.

I make $300 a year selling it to local members (I'm prohibited from selling on the Internet) and NONE from posting here or directing other to buy it. I do it for the love of good looking cars and talking to any car "nut" not just Corvettes.

I return ALL of that money back in to what I consider a hobby (not a business)and provide demos and "give aways" to NCRS members in Nebraska an Iowa. You can ask John Osterholm (President of the Nebraska Chapter) if you don't believe me.

If anyone is implying that I'm twisting someone's arms, making a bunch of money or not telling the truth about what I'm saying, I'll leave the board now and never return.

      However, no one can.

        No REALLY!!!

OK! You got me. I'm a (software) engineer.

1.5 ounces is way too much Z-2/Z-5 for one coat. I can use 1/4 of an ounce for one coat on my 1963 coupe or my 2001 coupe. I can show you a technique to reduce that considerably. I show many people this trick. You spend good money on your car; you shouldn't have to throw money away by using too much product.

I was only comparing the amount of LG to Zaino. The last time I used LG (many years ago) it was about the same amount. You would use much more carnauba-based product.

I'll have to beg to differ on the life of carnuaba (particularly during the summer). There are quite a few websites authored by experts in the field that indicate 4 to 8 weeks is the top end. I don't have those sites bookmarked but I can research that for you as proof.

          Ah Naw You Don't...

No more resignations...we just can't have it.

Don't do any research for me, Jack. I'm already a sold customer. Further, I affirm that Jack Urban and I have had no prior conversations about Zaino products, nor am I employed by or compensated by Zaino Bros. in any way.

              2 different polishes...

Remember though....there are 2 polishes that sound alike-there's Liquid Glass & Liquid Class. I got both of them in the garage in rotting cans!
