I have heard that there were differences every year in Corvette frames. Can anyone tell me what the differences were between the 1965 and 1967 small block frames. Thanks, Jim B

Re: 1965 vs 1967 Coupe Frames
The basic frame should be the same. As stated earlier, the park brake on the 65 goes thru the crossmember. The brake lines are mounted in a different location, so holes will need to be moved. The front brake line is mounted to the front crossmember differently. The 2nd crossmember is a bit different where it mounts to the frame side rails. In 67 there is a wider gap at the frame rails where the the brake line goes thru the crossmember. The 67 has a seat belt cable bracket is a bit different. Also the shifter is mounted to the frame in 67, so holes need to be tapped. With a good welder, you shoud be able to make the frame right for 65,66 or 67. I think I mentioned most of them.- Top
