    1965 vs 1967 Coupe Frames

I have heard that there were differences every year in Corvette frames. Can anyone tell me what the differences were between the 1965 and 1967 small block frames. Thanks, Jim B

Now that I think about it, I am sure the emergency brake cable bracket is different; any other differences?

The basic frame should be the same. As stated earlier, the park brake on the 65 goes thru the crossmember. The brake lines are mounted in a different location, so holes will need to be moved. The front brake line is mounted to the front crossmember differently. The 2nd crossmember is a bit different where it mounts to the frame side rails. In 67 there is a wider gap at the frame rails where the the brake line goes thru the crossmember. The 67 has a seat belt cable bracket is a bit different. Also the shifter is mounted to the frame in 67, so holes need to be tapped. With a good welder, you shoud be able to make the frame right for 65,66 or 67. I think I mentioned most of them.
