Re: WARNING!!!
it is not a big deal, just make sure you fill the carb, have the timing set as close as possible, prime the oil pump and if it does not start right away check the timing. i always have my timing light connected up before i try to start the engine so i can set the timing as soon as it fires. set the idle speed up on the carb so after you pump the throttle a few time, hit the starter to keep the speed between 2000 and 3000 RPM for 10 to 15 minutes. check for leaks and keep a check on the water temp and shut it down if it starts to over heat. the best way is to place a large fan in front of the rad to help cool the engine. it is best if you have a helper in the car to keep check on the water temp and oil pressure.
