    After clicking through these postings

two times, I guess I'm still unsure what is happening...don't know Loren S. and we have not had any contact that I am aware of....of course, if it happened late Friday or Saturday night at Corvettes at Carlisle, there could be another explanation......but then it also must be admitted that one of the joys of this hobby is sitting with McCagh's, the Cluppers, The Ernsts
and the Bakers and letting it fly.......
To make sure this is not a total waste of Board time, is anyone out there AWARE of an early appearance of EX87 ANYWHERE as a "show car"??

      Loren L. and Loren S.
Thanks very much. I will look around for EX87 photos.

Also, I found this trail of photos and comments very useful. As a result, I am looking for someone to repair a (installed on) March 18, 1960 version of the hi perf Corvette oil pan. (I used the date because that is the assembly date of my engine, F 0318CS).

Also possibly of interest: The orientation of the baffles inside my pan is slightly different!

      Thanks again.

Re: After clicking through these postings

I've never had the pleasure of meeting you, but I have been a fan (especially of your catchy first name) and have picked your brain before on the other forums under my alias Loren59 regarding EX122 and items of historical interest. I happened to be in Las Vegas earlier this year and snuck into the parking garage for the Regional to look at the cars. I asked a couple of people if you were around so I could introduce myself as a fellow Loren, but you must have stepped out at the time - someone thought you were at the craps table. Anyway, I didn't stick around long because I hadn't paid and didn't have a badge, and was prepared to tell security that I was looking for the Mopar show. I did buy an NCRS shirt on my way out, though.

Back to the technical issue, if I'm reading your article correctly, Ted's pan and the picture of the pan I posted would be no. 3736615, and would be correct for Ted's 58? Whereas the above link to the ebay pan that sold for $610 would be the trap door pan 3769761, correct for 60-61 with the high lift cam?
