    Another new project

    Hi all,

While the dollar to the euro exchange rate is so positive for us I decided to purchase another little projects: http://www.c1registry.com/index.php?...id=19&sort=asc

Expect a lot of '54 questions in the near future!!! My first question, is there an AIM for '54 or something equivalent?

    greetings,
    Rob.

Check the NCRS store, there is a 53-55 AIM I believe.

            Rob

Congratulations on the 54 purchase. What is the VIN#.

It looks very complete. Does the engine stamp pad say F54YG? How many miles does it show and how many revs on the rev counter? Does it have the dessicant box on the underside of the trunk lid to keep the license plate cover from fogging up?

If and when you remove the inner door panels..check the fiberglass to see if there are any manufacturer marks or dates.

56/57 cars have a stamped date under the passenger side deck lid support on raw fiberglass..I am not sure if they did this on 54's

            Very cool find.

            Joe

                Hi Joe,

Here some details on the engine: : 3826241, Engine Pad: 060I227 F54YG. I don't have the VIN yet (I will have that info tonight). I don't know about the desiccant box or nr. of revs yet...

It'll be another month till 6 weeks till I have the car over the pond but I'll post my findings on my weblog.

                greetings.
                Rob.
