I think you'll find that the number is actually 3820643. That's the casting number for the 63-74 spindle support. Some 63's differ in that they have no "webbing" between the forks as do later. While the CASTING used for both sides is the same, there were different FINISHED PART NUMBERS for the left and right supports due to the machining difference described by Wayne and John. Of course, the finished part numbers often appear nowhere on the part. But, as it turns out, in this case one of the supports does have the finished part number on it. That's because the CASTING number and the FINISHED PART NUMBER for the left side support happen to be the same----3820643. The right side support is the one that doesn't have its part number on it-----GM #3820644.
