    I'm pretty sure it was a later version; here's a shot of the interior (kinda dark) Note the Halda SpeedPilot - probably a Curta Calculator buried in there somewhere too.

      John, were these suppose to be concept cars or was it some limited type production. I see michigan licensed it so was it a "regular" street car. If it was, whatever happened to the corvette only two-seater sports car thingy?

          That was just one of many concept cars that GM Styling brought to Sebring in '57 and drove back and forth from the Sebring Hotel to the track; that was in the days before special "Manufacturer Plates". GM Styling took over almost the entire Sebring Hotel in '57 with all their hangers-on, and outnumbered the Chevy engineers about 10:1 - the Chevy engineers (and privateer teams like I was on) had to sleep in the paddock or in rented rooms in private homes, as there was "no room at the Inn" (the only hotel in town) thanks to Styling.
