It's what our WIVES were on, as they were the "decorators". I still remember building our home in Ohio in 1969 when I transferred to Lordstown, and my wife insisted on (all new) Harvest Gold appliances, and Avocado matte-finish formica countertops. Probably shouldn't mention the shag carpet in the family room.

You have the distinct advantage of being your own decorator

I am due to have a new "decorator" move in this year. I became engaged last August. I fear the masculine slant of my current decor is about to change forever. ; ) Fortunately she is a firm believer in a man having one room to himself. Did I say she was smart?
