66 SB exhaust manifold studs what length?

Can anyone tell me what the correct protrusion length is for 66 SB (I have an L79) exhaust manifold studs? I read that the right side should be longer to accomodate the heat riser. Thanks for any help.

Bill -- I measured a '68 BB RH (828) manifold I have handy, with original studs still installed (would need a torch to remove). Should also be same stud as for SB's as the heat riser THICKNESS was the same SB or BB (but I believe the '66+ SB manifolds had dumps that were nominally 2" (versus 2_1/2" for hi-horse '63-65 and all BB's).

Anyway; protrusion 2_1/2" exactly. Overall length of stud 3_3/64" (3.05")
