An Easy Way To Reset Cookies
Not sure how many folks are aware of this, but there is an easier way to reset cookies. Just select "Set Preferences", enter name and password, and then hit the "Update Preferences" button. That way you can reset cookies without having to post anything.- Top

Thanks Don, but where do I find that? I had this trouble about a month ago and someone talked me through it, but my archive search under postings by me, comes up empty??? now, I have to input my name, e-mail and password EVERY time I want to post, even after I "save password" I don't get it....- Top

Re: An Easy Way To Reset Cookies
Jim when I had the problem on my and my wife's computer of not saving the password I went to the control panel, internet options, delete cookies. Once I deleted the cookies it would save the new cookie that allows you to save your name and passwordDick Whittington- Top

Re: An Easy Way To Reset Cookies
That's what I was told before and it worked too! But now I have to do it again a month later and when I do, I loose ALL my other passwords that I have no problem with. Is it something about this board? Thanks again Dick!!!

Re: An Easy Way To Reset Cookies
Before I go crazy, is it on the board's end or mine? I'm doing this one from work (i'll make up for the time at lunch) ad it is fine, no password issues... must be the home connection...- Top

You can also compose a brief message and simply preview it to reset your cookies - that's how I usually do it.- Top

Re: An Easy Way To Reset Cookies
Mike, the weird problem that some of have had will not respond to this method. You can post, tell it to save password, etc and the next time you log on have to do the same routine. The only way I have found to cure it is what I posted..
But then again better times are a comin'Dick Whittington- Top
