'57 hard top correct Plexiglas date codes

I am negotiating to buy a hard top for my late ’57 #3290. My question is, what would be the correct Plexiglas date code or codes if there is more than one that would be correct? Thanks

Rex, if my math is correct you have a April car, the date code would be 4-7 or 4-57 for April or a 3-7 or 3-57 for March I think this is right, If not someone will let you know.

I think that is correct but, would the date code be the same as the month of completion of the car or up to maybe several months earlier What would be an acceptable range of dates???
