C3 Master Cylinder & Starter Rebuild?

    70 LT1

I'm set up with Arthur Gould for the water pump, but does anyone have a recommendation for the starter (1108338) and the master cylinder (5455509)?

And while I'm at it, I still can not locate the proper choke for my Holley 4555, if anyone has a suggestion on where else to look for one I would appreciate it.

    Thanks in advance,

    Jeph

For the master cylinder: White Post Restorations (www.whitepost.com) or Apple Hydraulics (www.applehydraulics.com).

For the starter: John Pirkle. His is e-mail address is/was pirklesr@juno.com

The Holley 4555 uses a divorced-style choke. If what you need is the thermostatic coil, you can order one from any GM dealer under GM #3887148 for a GM list price of $12.66. If you need some other part of the choke, post what you're after.

            Joe,
I really don't know what I need. I think I remember seeing one as the coil in a housing sitting in the well of the intake with a pushrod for the butterfly. If the part number you provided is the coil and housing, I can modify a pushrod. Part of my problem is that I don't know exactly what to ask for. The service Holley I was using (3310-1) has an electric choke and my 4555 does not have a choke at all. So I am looking for everything up to the butterfly.

I recieved a master cylinder back from Apple Hydraulics earlier this week and it looked great. Cost was around $80 or so. I had them put a brass sleeve in the bore and they cleaned it up real well with a fast turnaround. I would shop there again.

                -Mark.
