My '65 convertible is equipped with an L-75 engine, powerglide, and power steering. The left inner fender skirt has two holes drilled into it. They are about 4 inches below the fender edge and even with the #1 spark plug. Are these holes factory-drilled, or the result of an aftermarket accessory being installed? Before I repaint the skirts, I need to know if I should fill these holes. Thanks for your help, Mark
My first Corvette was a 64 convertible with air conditioning. It had two holes in the passenger side so that after removing the spark plug wires a long extension could be used to remove the front two spark plugs going through the inner fender skirt.
