    Grille Bracket - Rivets

Do the 1/8" aluminum rivets used to attach the mounting brackets to the grille have the raw side peened over like the finished side (i.e. mushroomed, pan headed) or were they squashed flat. The answer will determine -- whether I use a concave rivet setting tool or a flat one ??

If anyone has any helpful hints regarding these rivets, they sure would be appreciated.

    thanks

I have a similiar issue on a 1963 Roadster. What was Mike's response to the question?

            Jerry

Mike said the riverts were "pan headed" or finished on both sides. The raw side is finished half round as opposed to flat or squashed.
