Chris, no the car was not there, the car was you might say missing in action, the window sticker was in the possession of the son in law of the original owner, he had tried to locate the car and was giving up. He indicated his father in law had sold the car years earlier to somebody who he thought was from the Chicago area.

I probably could have purchased the window sticker as he offered to sell it, or written the VIN down for free, unfortunately I did neither.
