    Another one bites the dust..bummbummm.

All supercars will get crashed sometime, but every supercar crashes in its own special way. With the 2015 Chevy Corvette Z06 just hitting the streets, it was only a matter of weeks or days before someone tested how well it absorbed an impact — and of course the blessed event was caught on video.

And that is a great school and track I enjoyed which used to come as a part of the buyer's package when I got my ZR1 (and was included in my GT350 purchase too), now you just get a discount?

Terry, your correct to many people find out the hard way, respect is really a factor for the newer corvettes. so many of these situations like this on U- tube and have even had a few friends tell me of there situations with C5/6 corvettes. Now with these Stock Corvettes pushing almost 500HP. -- CRAZY, THEN ADD THE Z06.

You are so right Ed. Way too much car for so many people, me included. But it is so much fun. D:

Do you remember the dude that drove the Veyron in the swamp? The back story turned out that he couldn't make payments so he tried to get an insurance payout.

You can disable traction control and vehicle stability control on modern Corvettes, which is probably the case here. So what he had was equivalent to a sixties vintage big block with a 4.11 axle. Bang second gear and the rear tires break loose, so there's no rear traction -longitudinal or lateral. It's like being on glare ice, and a car can devolop a high yaw rate very rapidly. An experienced driver can usually correct by lifting off the throttle to regain rear traction and add steering correction as required, but the driver has to react and correct in a fraction of a second.

This guy apparently had no idea what might happen and no idea what to do once the car started getting loose.
