    Yep. They won't stay on and you can't get them off. ... or so the folklore goes.

      OK sorry for time lag. Fronts off last nite 1/17/16 will work on rears today. Learned good info. The internet is your friend

        Don't keep us in suspense. What technique did you apply to get the front k/o's off? What worked - what didn't?

          O.K. rears off. I have to credit ****** thumper folks. Went on their site and used their procedure for removal. Jack car till rear wheel just off the ground to take pressure off rim and short pieces of 2x4 to keep wheel from turning. It worked. No more knockoff's for me. I am going to check out corvette America steel wheels and new tires. Tires that on vette 15 years old. Still look good but not pushing my luck

            If you like the knock off look, consider a set of direct bolt knock offs. I have had mine for over 13 years and love them, no problems. Don H.

              I was eventually going to steel wheels. Collected four good hub caps over the years for the switch . I appreciate all the help and info. So new tires and rims for the old girl
