Yes we were, if the situation presented itself. It as was just like regular Flight Judging. We were encouraged to bring our tools with us to the Retreat.
Great learning experience from the top of the line judges.

Many kuddos to the Texas Chapter Members who braved the rain Thursday and Friday to bring and volunteer their cars at the Judging Retreat!

This year there was a couple of instances of drinks being spilled on the Judging cars exterior and members sitting inside the cars. Both are big No No's!

Thanks to all the members and instructors who participated and made the 2016 Judging Retreat a noteworthy event to attend.

This years event was informative and it has evolved from the last two judging retreats. I enjoyed it very much. As someone who needs more judging experience, I found it most beneficial. It is also a great social environment, we're fortunate to be involved in this hobby.

            I was in Group 2.
I was seated next to Mr Edmonson during our classroom day, and partnered with Mr Wingate for judging day.

My largest recollection is the phrase "Consult your Team Leader". It's important to realize what a vital role these people play in the process. Whether you have a question about a particular line item, a scoring matrix question, or a "challenging" owner - the Team Leader is there to be your resource.

The snacks and atmosphere were first rate!

I hope they also reminded owners to consult with the team leader when they have questions too.

Hey Brian....it was definitely a very informative retreat. It was rather over whelming for a beginner like me. However, I came away with learning so much about the cars and the judging process. It was also great meeting members like you that made learning fun as well. All the instructors were so helpful and so Corvette judging smart. No doubt the NCRS is on top of their game having such informative and educational meetings. I was really amazed at the skills and organizational level the NCRS team did for us. There are to many names to mention that did their job so well. Thanks again NCRS.
