That's a great way to get more folks to come......Everybody loves free stuff.

NEVER AGAIN? Ha, But some of us are gluttons for punishment. Me included! Remember last year when I took that black car into the Hanger? I felt like a cinder.....all burned-out.

If it wasn't for Bill Heron and his awesome fun attitude and hospitality, I think my brain would have exploded.

NEXT YEAR for sure I will be there. Got a phone last night from a Florida C1 RPO Parts collector that '' RARE RACE PARTS '' will be at the SWAP. Maybe I should just leave on my birthday and drive over and spend a week. Family medical issues have gotten in the way, but all looks good today. Have FUN.......FUN !!!

You should be in the campground Rich indicated. If you get there when we are open check in there for both RV and registration.

Just checked the Weather channel and looks good! 70-80 degrees (bring the sunsreen), light winds 6-10 mph and a 10% chance of the wet stuff Looking forward to it! Thanks to all who have organized.

A few quick photos yesterday afternoon staging the cars for OPs test this morning. There are ~34 cars for Flight Judging and ~14 cars for PV testing. Since I was in my "low" C6 when I snapped the photo, depth perception isn't clear showing the group. I'll get some better photos this morning when Bill Heron and I stage the cars in the Hanger after Cold Start and OPs. It's fun working with Bill.

After OPs, all cars will go into the hanger in preparation for judging tomorrow and Saturday. BTW, the weather is absolutely gorgeous. Upper 70's and sunny, the best ever here at Sun N Fun for the last 3 years.



Also are photos of retired GM Engineer Tom Hill's ride yesterday afternoon with a Sportsman entry....Rare 1 of 20.

Went today and I thought it was a well organized and attended event. Lots of cars and first time I have seen the modified division.....some interesting builds. Lots of vendors and a good swap meet. Hung around and listened in on a flight judging seminar around a 1963 Coupe. Learned a few things. Great job!!!!

Just got back from a lovely day in Lakeland - met some new friends, caught up with some old friends, and saw some spectacular cars. It may be just my impression, but it seemed like a MUCH smaller show this year, both in cars and attendance. It was still well worth the short drive over from our winter home in the St. Pete/Clearwater area. The 1961-62 cars were (once again) very sparsely represented in the judging hangar - in fact, there weren't too many of them around at all. Where are they all? One of these years I'll have to bring my 1962 down from New York.
