Hi Joe,

Interesting. I tried this on my desktop and it worked. Renamed an Excel file to a pdf extension. Tried to open it and got the "unrecognized file format" error (as I anticipated). renamed it back to an xlsx extension as you suggested above and it opened.

However, Rich is right in the middle of re-working this entire post, so he currently has version-control over what info will be used.
So, I think he will be the guy from now on posting whatever the latest, most-up-to-date version is.

But, thanks to you, I learned something today! thx, Mark

Here is a group of 24 Standard Parts & Hardware pages scanned as JPG and also PDF files from a P&A Catalog dated May 1, 1966. (Ref thread how I got this info HERE). I'll be adding the files to the Update Page and the Main page eventually.

Note the JPGs are in view below but the PDFs are attached at the bottom of this Post. You can download and print them to make your own copies. I made the PDFs a good resolution size to be clear views and can be enlarged on your computer. Unfortunately the large JPGs I uploaded got reduced in size so not too clear. Best to Download the PDFs. One Caveat..... You'll have to download the PDFs one file at a time..... BUT......

EDIT: Now attached is a single PDF with ALL pages in ONE FILE, and it is Searchable too!

Note: If you just want to view the JPG images you can enlarge them in your browser by using the magnify Ctrl function. Type Ctrl + several times to magnify the entire screen, Ctrl - to reduce. Ctrl 0 (zero)back to normal.

Note these parts are not all necessarily exactly what was used on the factory floor so use discretion when researching for your restoration tasks. It should be used for reference only but may help identify certain things like bolt and screw types, etc.

Gary, What file are you referring to?

Someone sent me the new HW Pages pdf yesterday afternoon after combining all 24 pages and compressing to get within TDB upload limits(2.86MB pdf). I updated the post(#63) last night and added it to the list and added better notes just a bit ago.

Updated C2 Radio Ground Straps and Hardware documentation in the UPDATE PAGE.

SPECIAL thanks to Alan Drake, the Primary Author of this document, along with extensive technical help from Gary Beaupre. These 2 guys had me on their CC list and we all traded scores of emails over the last few months with much research and technical data. Thanks Guys!

Adding Wonderbar Schematics here temporarily. At a later time I'll get them converted to PDF for ease of access.

They cover 987730 Chevrolet 3748611 Corvette Radios. Later C1 radio models similar except case configuration, component locations, etc.

1st group is jpg. 2nd group is gif. There is useful information in both.

This Thread may be able to use them to help diagnose the problem.

To save locally, print, etc, Right Click image page, then left click "Save as"(or other command based on browser being used).
