        My 65 365 Nassau w/white convertible was sold new at Merolis. Still have the original keys and dealer key emblem.

            Did this '65 396 owner move his fried rears to the front.....
            and judiciously prepare for winter by installing snows on the rear?

                Some day two custom touches, i.e. six tail lights and removed fender emblems. So is the hood part of the day two personalizing? Maybe, maybe not.

                    My guess would be looking at the rest of the clues in the photo that’s all he could afford. Note multiple oil leaks under car and 66 F350 looks like a trash truck or maybe a farm truck.

                                    That fellow used to display photos at Road America summer vintage races. All his photos had the same stamp on them. I haven't seen him at Road America for about 15 years now.

                                        My brother's first Corvette, a bone-stock (except the tail light addition) 1963 two-top roadster, Sebring Silver, black interior, bought in 1968 for the princely sum of $1800 at Humphrey Chevrolet, Milwaukee Wisconsin while he was in college at Whitewater Wis. When he sold it eighteen months later for $2000 to take delivery of his new 1969 coupe, I knew it should have been kept.
