Gary, I went to the local glass shop and picked it up but I'm sure you can get it online. Once assembled, I sprayed it with WD40 and the next day it was tight as a drum. The guy I dealt with at the glass shop explained how it was done in "the old days" but they now use a urethane compound to set glass but keep the old stuff around for us "purists".- Top

I found this rubber-cork glazing compound on Amazon. It's brown. Was the original GM stuff black?

Gary, I would think any glass shop would have it but there are several sellers on E-Bay (including Ekler's) that have it listed. Do a search for "glass setting tape". You have to be careful to get the correct thickness as it comes in 1/64" increments. I used the 1/32" thickness for the side windows. Here's a pic. showing what I used. The black, shiny side goes against the glass.
