Has anyone had any issue spraying over the original engine compartment black-out paint. For my 65 I couldn't get Rustoleum Semi-Gloss Black to adhere to my radiator support. Whenever I sprayed it on it would wrinkle badly. I tried priming it first and had the same result. Seems like it is a thick asphalt based paint. I had to use Lacquer thinner to remove all of the thick black paint down to bare metal before painting would work. I want to touch up my engine compartment and avoid this. Any rattle can options to do this ?

I too have had multiple problems with Rustoleum - just stop using. If you do a search on black out paint some long recommendations should be found.
I like stuff from SEM and Krylon, never had a problem with these. May want to post as another question.
