GM says that 30 1965 Corvettes were produced with M-22 transmissions. That information can be found in many places including, among others, the Corvette Black Book. These are not suppositions or estimates. They are derived from GM production information.

      Michael and Reggie,
See Alan Colvin's book "Chevrolet by the numbers 1965-69". Appendix#1 is an article about that car/transmission.
      Kind regards

          Ron,
You are correct, blueprint for case 3885010 indicates it is identical with 3851325 except as shown: It appears modifications were made 8-12-65

Re: 1966 Corvettes with M22 transmission

Alan's book is a great starting point to the discovery process as to what happened to the 30 known units. It only has one data point, that of a late June produced Canada vehicle, that likely was delayed as he writes due to it being a Big Tank car.
There are 57 total units and 30 that were to have gone into Corvettes, though I suggest you triage the data table as there is one PN that has pass car/Corvette overlap. 29 more units out there, who has the master list of the cars?

There was a silver 1966 425, M22, N06 car that passed through this area in the mid '70's. Could have bought the car for just a little over $2k. Car supposedly ended up in PA in the '80's

Al Grenning wrote about the '65 M22's. His article is in the "CORVETTE RESTORER". It may be as far back as 1985. He has also given seminars on the subject with supporting GM documents.

Assuming you are meaning N03, that sounds like the silver with black interior one with a VIN in the 10K range.
