Re: nostalgia
Yes-I read an article about him (I think it was in Corvette News),and his car collection, probably in1967 or 68. I was just getting started in the Corvette sickness, and I really liked 56's and 57's. I think he was big into 53's. Anyway,at that time ,he had a Blue 56 with like 4 or 5 thousand miles on it. Reading about him and his cars inspired me to buy a new one(69),and keep it low mileage.
Just wondered if anyone knows what happened to him?- Top

Re: nostalgia
#5 eventually ended up in the possession of John Kocsis who lived in Athens, PA just S of Binghamton NY. John restored it.
He sold the car. John died a few years ago. I shared swap meet spaces with him and others for years at Corvette Carlisle.1963 Corvette Conv. 327/360 NCRS Top Flight

Re: nostalgia
Rember him well. He sold me some parts and led me to a Wonderbar with powerpack and heads. I was a member and still have mags. Think I will dig them out and do some remembering. I guess it has been a few decades!- Top

Re: nostalgia
That earlycorvettes. com piece on Ed mentioned a R&T ad of vintage corvettes for sale in 1968. That prompted me to dig out my box of old R&T mags, and thumb through some ads, just for nostalgia sake. Ed did not have an ad in the May issue, but did have one in the April, and the December 68 issues, and there were a couple others in that issue too. Just for fun here they are. If only we could travel back in time. If only.
