Here's a pic. of the crack in my 65 posi housing. It's surprising that it hadn't exploded being behind a big block. Maybe the extremely low miles was why.

Changing the oil and additive didn't have an appreciable effect. Still clunks on left turn after driving for ten minutes or so. Looks like its posi inspection time.

Took the 65 for another drive today. Clunk is gone. This may be a dumb question, but is it possible that the new oil and additive took a while to soak into the posi, so now it has, and all is good again?

3.70 posi with a small block.
