I use an Innova 3568- has a bit more than an hour's run time but I guess I can expect the same at some point in time. Works great though.

My Sears/Penske pre induction light is probably every bit of 50 years old; survived fan impacts, hot exhaust manifolds and general abuse and still works fine - just no dial back.

I wish I could have found deal on the used Snap-on timing lights like Mike did. New ones cost an incredible $500, and the only used one I found looked really beat up, was over $200 and the ad was ambiguous about whether it actually worked.
You won't be sorry. I've used that timing light for years on my 61 and 63 Corvettes, 67 Chevelle and 66 Mustang and on the cars of many friends. Its not a Sun machine but you can use it effectively to optimize your spark map with ease. The light is bright and the leads are long enough to get them out of the way of hot and moving parts. The only upgrade that would be nice is if it displayed RPM and timing together without hitting a button to switch back and forth - hardly a biggee.

Everything works except the LCD display reads RPM or degrees of timing, depending on which button is pushed, not both simultaneously. You'll see when you get yours - really, its a non-issue. I prob didn't even need to mention it.
