      Check headlight switch. Is it the correct part number? Also, the rheostat (sp) may be dirty, on the switch.

          Michael, the light bulb type is listed in the owner manual.......

            I would make sure the bullet end is pointing in the right direction. And also the green cover is clean. the translucent plastic being new helps too.

              Found problem with heater control lighting: no bullet lamp attached to clock, lamp socket with grey wire hanging loose down near radio. Doesn’t make much light for the heater controls like that….Now to find the proper hardware, wish me luck…I need one of these:

                Michael, there are supposed to be green covers that go over the lamp covers.

                  Look in the Long Island catalog, Section 12: 59A, 59B. I know Long Island has sold to Zip, but you will know what to ask for.
