Re: Ed Foss
I'm very sorry to hear that. I knew he was not doing well, but had no idea things were that far along.
Ed was a staunch supporter of the IN Chapter for years.
My favorite memory of Ed was when I gave him a ride home during our 2016 regional.
Ed told me the story of years before, when he'd tried to impress a date by taking her up in his plane to view July 4th fireworks.
Things were going well... until she got airsick.
R.I.P. my friend!

Re: Ed Foss
Ed's passing is a great loss to NCRS, and of course more importantly his family. Ed loved chrome bumper C3s and had an outstanding collection of them in his "museum." He was happy to share those cars with us frequently. Safe travels my friend.
My condolences to all of Ed's family members and his many friends.Terry- Top

So sad. Great guy. He loved low mile C-3 Corvettes. He bought my 1972 ZR-1 which was the last one built. Silver/ Black leather.65 350 TI CONV 67 J56 435 CONV,67,390/AIR CONV,70 454/air CONV,

Re: Ed Foss
How sad...great guy! I recall when I brought a Pace and B2Z Silver Anniversary (very low-mileage) to a, Regional at the Lowe's Speedway. Crawling around underneath before judging commenced, he pulled out a GMAD manifest (buildsheet) from between the strut bracket. I use that picture to this day, and always remember his curiosity about all his Corvettes.Tom Russo

Re: Ed Foss
RIP Ed. Had some fun times & conversations with him at many Corvette different shows for years. He was funny when you got to know him. Saw times he was madder than a poked hornet's nest too. He told me more than a few times he felt his cars were judged harsher because of the low miles or rarity of his cars.- Top

Re: Ed Foss
Sad to hear this.
As with others, I judged many of his cars and visited his museum when it was at its peak.
Mike Treece regularly kept me updated on how Ed was doing the last few years.
My condolences to Teresa and his family. He will be missed.Vice-Chairman (West), Michigan Chapter NCRS

Re: Ed Foss
I'm sorry to hear about the passing of Ed. Cars he owned will always be referred to as an Ed Foss Car. I remember at the 2000 Galveston Nationals when he brought a truckload of cars to be judged. I shuttled him back to the trailer with a golf cart every time he moved a car over for operations judging. He was a great supporter of NCRS.- Top
