An easy check would be to inspect all the rubber bushings in the rear.

The noise is in the back not in the cluster or engine bay

            Enzo,

If the squeak changes with speed or braking or seems to come from one side, check your rear wheel bearings.

Here's what happened to me when I ignored a slight noise from the rear of my 67:

Hello Enzo, Can you hear the squeak if you bounce the rear of the car up and down by hand on the bumpers? Or does the sound have a frequency with speed of the car as to a spinning part?

OK then, would you say it makes a speeding up and slowing down sound as car does? Does it only do it at higher speeds?

At first guess, it may be part of the rotating assemblies. Other members here mentioned some already. The rotors, u-joints,wheel bearings. As Doug mentioned, I too would start with the rotors which may not be spinning true. Hard to say without hearing.

Hello Enzo, Years ago when I restored my 67, I had a squeak coming from the right rear when the wheels rotated. It turned out to be a stick -on wheel weight that was installed on the inside of the right rear wheel contacting the caliper when rotating. My car has the aluminum bolt on wheels that required this type of weight. Check for any interference with the inside of your wheels with all brake and suspension components. Have someone stand beside your car while driving slowly by to help pin down the location of the squeak. Good luck!

Enzo, momentarily, partially engage the parking brakes while driving to eliminate them as a source
