    Source for original carb

I have a great 1965 C2, numbers matching factory A/C convertible that ought to be judged some day, I think.

The car is quite original except repaint and new interior before I purchased it.

Does anyone have a suggestion for source for a reliable, functional carburetor with appropriate build date for this vehicle? 327/350 .

    All input appreciated.

John i bought a dated correct Carburetor at Carlisle for my 67 350 A C coupe. He did not have it with him he was able to mail it to me. Runs great I call him John Carburetor 410 875 2715 . He takes a while to return calls. Try him after 1 pm. He is in Maryland.

I can concur with Mark's recommendation. Phil has rebuilt carbs for me and has many sitting on his shelf. Also, consider, Eric Jackson at http://www.vintagemusclecarparts.com/...another terrific resource. Bob Kunz has, also, rebuilt a carb for me but I'm not sure he's still active.

Another thought. Try David Sokolowski listed in the Driveline. He should have a rebuildable carb (dated) for you.

          Re: Source for original carb

Three completely different carburetors types were used on the four carbureted 1965 engines all of which could be ordered with AC, so it might help if you state which one you have.

Search the DB archives and read what others have said about them. I’ve purchased one or two items from them about 15 years ago and was very satisfied with them. Some other people tell a different story. A feedback rating of 99.1% indicates many satisfied customers. Personally, I like to deal with eBay sellers with 100% ratings.
