Having done three or four surveys like this one, it’s probably worth asking Joe more about the owner and restoration history of VIN 9128 to see if it possible that either one or both clips are not original. That result would fit the trend better.

the whole question of "is it original or not" is always a problem in any survey like this.
I'll let Tony be the guide on how he wants this done.
