Terry: This is my first major encounter with a Gen II LT1. I struggled with a couple of things today, and I'm still not sure how to re-set the opti spark's timing if something gets turned, because the 92 opti has a spline drive with no index. I'm not going to turn anything. Anyway, I thought of you while I was in the "might mess something up here because I don't know what I'm doing" mode. My thought was, "Gee I wonder if Terry still has that engine I sold him? Parts off it could be useful if I break something...". It's probably still in Gary's shop. But a little far away.
Cheers. Thanks for the encouragement.
I am not familiar with the spline drive opti. All mine have been the last design, pin drive. Maybe in Frisco we will find the time to talk about all the optispark designs, and the modifications there of. I am curious how the vacuum modifications would judge, but we can talk about that in Frisco.Terry- Top
