We didn't even look for that and it worked perfectly. As I said the manual is less than useless and said nothing about this. Next time we will look for it.

The manual wasn't great but covered the basics (but not the arrow on the pickup). Also be aware it says to never connect/disconnect it with the ignition on.

The attached PDF is a copy of the manual I received with my Innova 5568. Page 7 talks about the "arrow" on the induction head.

Thanks very much for sending this!! That was not included in the one I got. There was a poorly translated sheet with almost nothing except bad English in ours. Unless It was hidden somewhere in the case and I missed it.

Mine came with a "basics" sheet that had, on the back, a web address you could go to for the more comprehensive version featured in the link above. Chip.
