C2 Headlight motor internal

Anyone out there have a picture or schematic of their breakdown of washers, etc. on the armature shaft? My motor runs one direction and not the other. Mechanic friend has determined that if you press down on the geared portion of the motor, it will spin both ways. That leads me to believe that the person who rebuilt the motor failed to put in a brass washer or two on the shaft side plate next to the gear box. Any thoughts?

If the motor runs only in on direction yes it may be getting jammed up. Could be several reasons, including a problem with field coil too.I'd remove the big plastic gear assy, reassemble it and run the motor "no load" both ways to see if it's a electrical or mechanical fault.
