First question relates to door weatherstrip, does the slit @ the bottom have molded shut ends? I was thinking of cutting with a razor, but do not want to cut if this is not correct, was there a big gap? Second question is door sill screw heads, does anyone know of a vendor that makes the correct small head black crews? Thanks for your help.

1. Slice away, that's how the factory did it. The weatherstrip was delivered as one piece, and the installers sliced it into two on the line to make it easier to install. As a result the gap was irregular and not necessarily straight. I bought new sill plates from Corvette America that came with new screws which appear correct to me. I have not had my car judged yet. They sell the screws without the sill plates:
