    O-ring

This goes back a few years, but I recall not being able to find an O-ring with the correct OD, so I custom sized a batch by slipping them on a nail, chucking the nail in my drill, and sanding them down with wet/dry 400grit.
Be sure to use vacuum grease when reassembling. Still working fine...

Thanks Doc for this hint in your excellent catalog!

By the way, I see a Mustang heater vacuum switch on eBay that's the same basic configuration. Plastic case though.

      Re: Vacuum switch

My switch was frozen when I bought the car (66) 327/300....valve was also missing.....I replaced the Vacuum switch, Vac. lines & Valve all from LIC...all in working order...only problem now is that I can' get the A/C to blow cold....... but that's just another project........
