The Museum Delivery is worth every penny. I can't be beat for bang-for-the-buck IMO.

I paid the $450.00 and will see the car built, it takes 36 hrs to build one!

That part was fun too, but I doubt you will get to spend 36 hours in the plant. Enjoy the thrill.

There were a couple ZR-1's at Bloomingtion Gold. The Dealer seemed to like the fact that he could rev it to the limiter and it would spit and loudly backfire out the tailpipe. He keep doing it all around the grounds.
Then when the L-88's made there trek across the street the ZR-1 was in line bouncing off the rev-limiter again. Made a unique sound, kind of like a car chewing a giant piece of bubble gun and popping it. Later on he had one of his young assistants in the car and he was "teaching" him how to bounce it off the limiter and make the noise.
I caught up to him later and asked if there was a "dealer abuse" discount on the red car as I'm sure it was well worn in by Sunday night!

It's ZR1 with no space or hyphen. There's a great article in the latest "Corvette Quarterly" with test drives. I'd love to have one, but that'll be another life I guess. Awesome car.

When I saw them -- two ZR1s at the Chevrolet tent, a red and a gray – they were "guarded" by several of the engineering team -- Chevrolet employees, not dealer personnel.

I didn't see the WOT display, but I heard it as I was approaching the area, so I can't vouch for just who was responsible for that kind of performance.
