    I have AOL (and have for years), but I access it through Comcast high-speed cable - it's AOL's BYOA (Bring Your Own Access) plan; if the cable craps out (which has never happened), I can still use AOL Dial-Up.

        OK I understand. I saw you at Al'S seminar but did not get a Chance to say hi. It was neat to see a lot of the old timers.

            Ken,

            You can get High Speed Internet ( Broadband ) through regular copper phone wire with DSL. There is a requirement that you are within 3 miles of the telephone switchboard for it to work though. New technology has dispersed the telephone switchboards all over the country. You will see the boxes on the ground that belong to the Telco. Many of these contain the switchboard. I live in Johnson Co. IN and they have DSL available to much of the rural area of the county. There are some areas that don't have access, but many areas you might not expect have high speed DSL.
