Re: L88
i think the car market is like the housing market it has come down to what the items are really worth. most of the time when the stock market goes down collectibles go up but not this time and along with the housing market it will be a long time before things change in the collector car market.- Top

Re: L88
Thanks for sharing the information about the L88 consigned into the Mecum auction, Tom. I was hoping to see some commentary about the authenticity of this car. I felt like someone on this board may know of this exact car, and could pass this information on to other interested members.

An L88 Corvette is used to shaking the world around it, but at the Mecum High Performance Auction in St. Charles, Illinois last weekend, an extremely low mile one owner 1969 Corvette L88 shook the auction world by selling for $446,250. Previous high of a 1969 L88 sold at an auction was set back in January 2006 at Barrett-Jackson for $334,800.Good carburetion is fuelish hot air . . .- Top

Re: L88
From reading this post I estimate a 69 L88's selling price could run from $300,000 to $450,000. I'm guessing but I figure a 68 would be in the same range. However, does anyone have a guess of what a 67 L88 selling price may be? It must be way up there.
Thanks
