If I would like to create a authentic look of the engine paint applied I have to consider the engine was sprayed in a relatively short time by people who did the job all day long.
This means the engine should receive little or no paint in area's less accessible, e.g. behind the water pump. To create this authentic look I was thinking about spraying these area with some clear first paint and then don't make an effort to cover these with orange. Could this work? Has more people tried this and does this work out well (also in the long run?)
Pictures and tips would be welcome...
regards,
Rob.
