This phenomenon, taken to the extreme, would degrade the overall knowledge level within the judging ranks, thereby allowing cars with errors to slip through to Silver or Gold status. The net result is a reduction in the perceived value of a Bloomington award.......
I'm not saying this is happening, but this could be the result if knowledge is lost and not written down. NCRS faces the same issue, but has the manuals to fall back on.
