Most of the differential stampings I have seen start with a 1 or 2 (which I think was the shift) and end with a W (for Warren the factory that built it). My stamping has neither of these.
It just has the axle code and date of AZ 10 22 69, and a casting date of I 10 69. Trim tag date is P20.
Has anyone seen this?
I was told that some late '69 were not built at Warren and that might explain the lack of the last factory stamp letter?
Another said that there was a transition to the 70 three letter code and the stampings procedure changed?
Anyone else with a Nov '69 car that could let me know what theirs says?
Any experience in these stampings would be appreciated.
Thanks!
