2010 the chiefs have signed off on a cap on spending. They have not come up with a figure but I can't imagine running these cars on a budget for the year. And how do you monitor the expenditure your talking hundreds of millions of dollars ?

They aren't even CLOSE to buying in on the budget cap, as they can't agree on what expenditures are included and which aren't, and it creates a two-tier technology package depending on whether a team accepts the cap or not. Max and Bernie want it, but nobody else does; FOTA and the FIA are still WAY apart.
