Like Jay, I've been into Chevelle Super Sports since buying my first car at age 15, in 1969. Drove a Chevelle SS396 all thru high school, and have owned more of them thru the past 40 years, than I can count on two hands.
Here's a few pics of my current 1966 Chevelle SS396, purchased as another "barn find" in 2001. Shows 48,000 miles on the odometer, and sitting on it's original ball joints. It was a California delivered smog pump AIR car, and is rare in the fact it's an original four speed, with factory air conditioning. I've put 5,000 miles on her in the last 8 years, driving every week (weather permitting) to car cruise night. As with all my cars, she was built to drive and have fun with. Ridge
