    Jerry, thanks again for the advice. I will check the items as you suggested, but I know for a fact that battery is fully charged. I had a battery tender on it and also in all my concentration to try to fix it, i did not take the battery tender off the battery when i checked the gauge and started the car. Idiot mistake, but it sounds like that would explain why the gauge operated the way it did. I will take off the tender and try as you outlined below. Thanks again for all you help, looks like I may have solved the problem. Super appreciate all the posts. You guys are the best.....Regards. ARA
